Happy Dog Pet Portraits: With much of my family being artists, I grew up loving art including sketching, pottery, airbrush design, but particularly painting. Over the past several years I have concentrated primarily using acrylics. Much of my free time is spent with my family outdoors hiking and biking, so my work focuses on nature such as landscapes and especially trees. However, being an avid animal lover and pet owner including my 33 year old horse that I have had for over 24 years, my favorite subjects are animals of all kinds including horses, dogs, cats and cows to name a few. I particularly enjoy painting animal portraits where I use bright colors and a somewhat loose style to capture each animal's unique expression.
